About Me

My photo
MONK
Englewood, FL, United States
During the 40 plus years since my time in Vietnam I have led a very interesting life as a businessman and entrepreneur and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. During my working life I have enjoyed selling, not all at the same time, insurance, paint, hardware, automotive supplies, advertising, property, windows, doors, siding, and satellite dishes. I’ve owned a restaurant, video store and last but not least, for 18 years, my own ad agency in Boston. In addition, I have written three books about my experience as a Marine in Vietnam. During this time I have been blessed with six wonderful children: five boys, Kevin, Travis, Ryan, Andy and Kyle and one very loved and much overprotected daughter, Kelsey. One son Kevin (a Desert Storm Marine veteran) has given me three wonderful grandchildren,Alex,Kevin and lovely Samantha. Also, another son Travis (a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and the best damn Combat Arms Instructor at Edwards Air Force Base)has given me Three beautiful granddaughters, Dakota Lynn Feb.07 2006 and another Callie Jean on Dec.01 2008...and surprise, surprise..another. Autumn Grace this year...I'm a lucky man...
